Novitec Ferrari FF

In 2012, the tuning company Novitec Rosso presented its modification package for the Ferrari FF model. It included modifications to the engine, suspension, exterior and interior.

The Ferrari F140 engine modification consisted of various packages, the elements of which could be purchased separately.

The Stage 1 package consisted of a new tuned electronic engine management system with a revised curve group and a higher cut-off speed of up to 8200 rpm, a stainless steel exhaust system without throttle adjustment including Novitec tailpipes, and a catalytic converter replacement. This package increased power from 660 hp. up to 702 hp at 8200 rpm, and torque from 683 Nm to 714 Nm at 6200 rpm, and reduced the weight of the supercar by 16 kg. An exhaust system with adjustable dampers and switching on the steering wheel was optionally available.

The Stage 2 package consisted of a new tuned electronic engine management system with a modified curve group and a higher top speed of up to 8200 rpm, a stainless steel exhaust system without throttle control including Novitec tailpipes, and sports metal catalytic converters with reduced exhaust back pressure . This package increased power to 694 hp. at 8200 rpm, and torque up to 708 Nm at 6100 rpm, and reduced the weight of the supercar by 13 kg. An exhaust system with adjustable dampers and switching on the steering wheel was optionally available.

Stage 3 package of a new tuned electronic engine management system with a modified curve group and a higher maximum speed of up to 8200 rpm, a stainless steel exhaust system without flap adjustment, including Novitec tailpipes, which gave an increase in power to 688 hp, torque up to 701 Nm at 6100 rpm, and a reduction in the weight of the supercar by 9 kg. An optional exhaust system with adjustable dampers and switching on the steering wheel was available.

As a result of engine modifications, the maximum speed increased by 5 kph to 340 kph, and acceleration to 100 kph was reduced by 0.1 s to 3.5 s.

To improve the suspension, various options were proposed – from simply reducing the ground clearance to installing a fully adjustable suspension, which allows you to raise the nose of the car by 40 mm from a button to overcome uneven surfaces.

The wheels were lightweight forged wheels with five double spokes Novitec Rosso NF3 or NF4 measuring 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear, weighing only 9.9 and 13.5 kg, respectively. They were fitted with high-performance Pirelli P Zero tires in sizes 255/30 ZR21 and 315/25 ZR22.

Externally, the tuning version of the Ferrari FF from Novitec Rosso could be distinguished by an aerodynamic carbon body kit, which included a front spoiler, side “skirts”, a rear diffuser, two rear spoilers and covers for the rear view mirror housings. A new radiator grille, carbon roof, and tinted taillights completed the picture. All parts of the body kit were carefully blown in the wind tunnel.

Another distinctive feature of the Ferrari FF for Novitec Rosso were the black taillights, side marker lights and LED rear fog lights.

The trim was offered with countless options from carbon fiber scuff plates to fully customized leather and Alcantara interiors, finished down to the last detail in any desired color and upholstery design.

For faster and more precise shifting, Novitec Rosso offered longer carbon fiber paddle shifters.
