Description
The Isdera Silver Arrow C112i was introduced on September 16, 1999 at the Frankfurt International Motor Show and was an upgrade of the 1993 Isdera Commendatore 112i.
In 1999, six years after the introduction of the Isdera Commendatore 112i, the car was updated and renamed the Isdera Silver Arrow C112i "Silver Arrow". On the outside, it featured conventional rear-view mirrors instead of a periscope, and silver Azev E five-spoke alloy wheels with the Mercedes-Benz logo instead of the gold BBS. Also on the car, all Isdera badges were replaced with Mercedes-Benz badges, including the steering wheel. The engine was a 6.9-liter Mercedes M120 V12 unit modified by AMG with 620 hp.
Investors from Switzerland tried to revive the project: Commendatore 112i appeared in the game Need for Speed II, released in 1997.
The price of the car was $620,000. The car, like its predecessor, was built in one copy and bought by a Swiss businessman who wished to remain anonymous. In 2005, this car was sold on eBay for $ 3 million, but could not find a new owner.
The car was eventually sold and wandered through private collections until it was returned to Isdera in 2016, where it found its original design.
