Carozzeria Pininfarina S.p.A. (Italy) – a company engaged in the construction of car bodies and car design. Founded in 1930 as Carrozzeria Pinin Farina by designer and engineer Battista "Pinin" Farina. The name of the company has become a combination of a nickname and a surname. In December 2015, the company was bought by the Indian holding Mahindra Group. In 2018, a separate company, Automobili Pininfarina GmbH, was formed, headquartered in Munich, Germany, to produce luxury electric vehicles.
