Monte-Carlo Automobiles S.A.R.L.

Monte-Carlo Automobiles S.A.R.L. (Monaco) is a company specializing in the production of handmade sports cars. The company was founded in 1983 by engineer Fulvio Maria Ballabio, a former Formula 2, IndyCar Series and Offshore driver. In 1989, the company began production of its first carbon-fibre, Lamborghini-powered GT street car. In 1995, the company was acquired by the French group Aixam Mega who built and sold a sports car model derived from the original MCA Centenaire called the MEGA Monte Carlo. Despite the fact that several prototypes were made, their promised production never began. Aixam returned ownership of the company to its Italian founders.
