Vermot Veritas Prototype

In 2008, a fully completed Vermot Veritas Prototype was introduced.

The car was equipped with an engine from the BMW M3 (E92) with a power of 480 hp. (353 kW) as evidenced by testing in the TopGear car TV show by Richard Hammand (season 12 episode 6).

As a gearbox, a sequential 6- or 7-speed gearbox was used, as in the BMW M3, allowing the supercar to accelerate to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 329 kph.

The body was a tubular space frame, Kevlar lining with carbon elements. Exterior The typical shark-mouth and aggressive-looking twin xenon headlights, inward-tapering side sills and a flat tail with two upward-facing stainless steel central exhaust pipes contrast with the asymmetric cross-beam integrated into the bodywork on the driver's side. A rear-view mirror protruding into the center of the vehicle, riveted or chrome-plated bodywork elements, as well as characteristic serrated taillights underscore the exceptional design concept.

Asceticism reigned in the interior: no electronic bells and whistles, only a sports steering wheel, dial gauges and Recaro leather-trimmed seats.
