Pininfarina Battista Anniversario

One year after the debut of Pininfarina Battista, in March 2020, the special edition Anniversario was presented, limited to five pieces (out of a total of 150 pieces) in honor of the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Pininfarina atelier, priced from 2.6 million euros each.

Technically, the special series cars did not differ from the serial Battista models.

Each of the five Anniversario cars was finished in three signature colors: Bianco Sestriere, the never-before-seen Grigio Antonelliano and Automobili Pininfarina's Iconica Blu. It took the skilled craftsmen at the Cambiano plant several weeks to paint each car, applying layer after layer and color after color, all by hand. The hull was disassembled and reassembled three times, so stripes in three different colors could be hand-painted directly onto the hull.

The Battista Anniversario was also fitted with the Furiosa Package, which was later made available to any Battista model and included an updated carbon fiber front splitter, side vanes and a rear diffuser. Exclusive to Anniversario, these parts were finished in a two-tone combination of exposed signature carbon and Iconica Blu shaded carbon with subtle stripes in Bianco Sestriere. Apart from the exclusive livery, the special rear wing, rear aerodynamic fins and other bespoke details were unique to the Battista Anniversario. The aerodynamic improvements provided by the Furiosa's exterior changes provided increased downforce and greater stability at higher cornering speeds.

The handling dynamics of the Anniversario were further improved by reducing the unsprung weight by almost 10 kg thanks to the new wheel design with forged aluminum rims with central locking. Additional Impulso wheels added to the list of options available for the Battista.

Other bespoke details included unique Anniversario seats trimmed in eco-friendly black leather and black Alcantara. In addition, the limited edition hypercar featured an engraved chassis plate between the seats, engraved headlights, "Anniversario" lettering on the side fenders, black anodized door plaques homage to the founding of the Carrozzeria Pinin Farina in 1930, and signature "Pininfarina 90" logos.
