MCA Rascasse

In 2013, on the occasion of the brand's 30th anniversary, the MCA Rascasse sports car was introduced. The car was named after the turn on the Monte Carlo track (closer to the end of the circle, in front of the boxes), where Formula 1 races are held.

The 5.4-liter BMW M73 V12 engine from Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph, boosted to 500 hp, was chosen as the power plant. Thanks to the efforts of the Italian company BRC, a specialist in the field of liquefied gas, the car was able to run not only on gasoline, but also on methanol or natural gas.

According to various sources, the sports car had a 5.98-liter V12 engine with 400 hp. or 550 hp, thanks to which it accelerated to 310 kph. It also had the ability to boost the engine to 700-850 hp, due to which the maximum speed increased to 330-350 kph. There was also mention of the Rascasse G and Rascasse R versions, which did not have 650 hp. and 700 N m (maximum speed 350 kph), 930 and 980 hp. respectively, and 900 Nm, and a maximum speed of 360 kph, and acceleration to 100 kph – 3 seconds.

Similar to the 1992 MCA Beau Rivage prototype, the MCA Rascasse had a two-seat open body with a removable hardtop and vertical scissor doors.

The interior is a mix of white leather and wood inspired by the Chris Craft Riva motorboat owned by Prince Rainier and Grace Kelly.

Approximately 15 units were produced at a price of 300-500 thousand euros.
