Description
In 1992, the MCA GTB was presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which was a further development of the MCA Centenaire introduced in 1989. The main differences were in a slightly modified appearance and engine.
The engine was similar to that used on the MCA Centenaire, a 5.2-liter V12 from Lamborghini. Here it was boosted by the use of two Garrett turbochargers, one per row of cylinders. As a result, power increased from 455 to 721 hp, and torque from 500 to 730 Nm. With a mass of 1050 kg, the supercar could reach an impressive speed of 354 kph while accelerating to 100 kph in 4 seconds.
The body of the supercar, similar to the MCA Centenaire, had a carbon fiber monocoque with push-rod suspensions with anti-roll bar. The gearbox was also a 5-speed manual.
The interior of the sports car had a leather quilted interior, bucket seats, air conditioning.
In total, three copies of the MCA GTB were assembled.
