Hartge H2 (E31)

Hartge H2 is the second revision of the BMW 8-series from Hartge. The main difference from the H1 version was that the model was not 850Ci, but 840Ci. Those. here they did not squeeze strength out of the 5-liter V12, but equipped the 4-liter V8 engine with a compressor, finalized the engine control unit and replaced the exhaust system. As a result, power increased from 286 to 400 hp. and torque from 400 to 492 N∙m. Considering the weight of the V8 model, the dynamic performance was higher than that of the 12-cylinder model.

The suspension and braking system were also modified, resulting in a 30 mm lower ground clearance.

It also offered the opportunity to significantly improve the appearance of the car, not only by installing different-wide wheels with Hartge discs, but also by installing a body kit, thanks to which the car became wider (due to extended fenders) and acquired a very aggressive look.
