Description
Six months after the presentation of the Ferrari GTC4Lusso at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016, the GTC4Lusso T modification debuted at the Paris Motor Show. There were practically no visual differences between these supercars, except for the transmission and engine.
Instead of a naturally aspirated V12 engine, the GTC4Lusso T received the V8 engine known from the 488 GTB coupe and 488 Spider roadster. The 3.9-liter Ferrari F154 BD V8 had a power of 610 hp (449 kW) and was equipped with direct injection, two turbines and a Variable Boost Management cylinder deactivation device.
The engine was paired with a 7-speed semi-automatic dual-clutch transmission transmitting torque to the rear axle.
As a result of installing a weaker engine and the absence of all-wheel drive, the curb weight was 1865 kg, which affected the dynamic characteristics, which did not deteriorate much compared to the base model, for example, acceleration to 100 kph increased by 0.1 from 3.4 s to 3.5 s, and the maximum speed decreased from 335 kph to 320 kph.
The braking system and suspension remain unchanged, and there is also a fully steerable chassis, the latest version of the SCM-E adaptive suspension and SSC lateral skid control system.
Externally, it is possible to distinguish the turbo version from the naturally aspirated base version by the exhaust pipes - here they are matte, not chrome-plated.
