Description
Ferrari 456 GT – спортивный автомобиль класса Grand Turismo, имевший посадочную схему 2+2 и двигатель V12. Автомобиль являлся заменой переднеприводной модели Ferrari 412 (четырехместного автомобиля с двигателем V12).
Название 456 происходит от того факта, что каждый цилиндр имеет объем 456 кубических сантиметров. Это был последний Ferrari, который использовал это правило об именах до модели 488 GTB.
Всего было выпущено 1951 экземпляров. Из них 1548 моделей 456 GT и 403 моделей 456 GTA (с автоматической коробкой переключения передач). Стоимость автомобиля на момент производства составляла 360 000 немецких марок.
Двигатель
Двигатель V12 объемом 5,5 литра и углом развала цилиндров в 65° был заимствован у Dino V6, а не более традиционный 60° V12, используемый в Ferrari 412 и Daytona. Его мощность составляла 442 л.с. с 4 клапанами на цилиндр и системой управления двигателем Bosch Motronic M2.7. Ferrari утверждала, что двигатель мог разогнать автомобиль весом 1690 кг до максимальной скорости 302 км/ч. На момент разработки это был самый мощный серийный дорожный автомобиль, когда-либо созданный Ferrari. В 1996 году система управления двигателем изменилась на управление Motronic M5.2, а двигатель с обновленной системой получил код F116C.
Трансмиссия
На выбор предлагались две коробки переключения передач: первая – шестиступенчатая механическая (ZF), вторая – четырехступенчатая автоматическая (GM Turbo Hydramatic 4T80-E), разработанная в сотрудничестве с FF Developments в Ливонии, штат Мичиган. Автоматическая коробка передач, используемая в 456 GTA, была вторая и последняя обычная автоматическая трансмиссия с гидротрансформатором, предлагаемая Ferrari. Если с механической коробкой автомобиль разгонялся до 302 км/ч, то с автоматической – до 298 км/ч.
Подвеска
Автомобиль имел независимую подвеску колес на двойных поперечных рычагах со стабилизаторами поперечной устойчивости спереди и сзади, а также амортизаторы с изменяемой жесткостью. Электроника контролировала положение каждого колеса. Помимо этого, Ferrari 456 GT имел «антиклевковую» программу в компьютере: при разгоне жестче становятся задние амортизаторы, при торможении – передние. А всего в автомобиле было установлено 23 электронных блока различного назначения. Общая длина проводов составляла 1,5 км.
Тормозная система
Тормозная система была оснащена антиблокировочной и антипробуксовочной системами. Ferrari 456 GT – одна из немногих моделей фирмы, у которой тормозные диски были не перфорированные, а только вентилируемые. В салоне глубоко под торпедо была установлена кнопка отключения антипробуксовочной системы для возможности только умышленного отключения для желающих проходить повороты с заносом.
Кузов
Шасси представляло собой трубчатую стальную пространственно-рамную конструкцию с цельным композитным капотом и алюминиевыми панелями кузова. Ателье Pininfarina отвечала за кузов Ferrari 456 до 1996 года, когда производство было перенесено на Ferrari. Общее количество изготовленных кузовов в Pininfarina составляет 1435. При работе над кузовом автомобиля много внимания уделили его аэродинамике. Продували в трубе даже днище, специально для этого сделав масштабный макет. Днище получилось гладким, все неровности были закрыты специальными пластиковыми щитами – в инструкции к машине водителя особо предупреждали беречь их и не наезжать днищем на кочки-бугорки. Но общий коэффициент Сх получился далеко не выдающимся – 0,35.
Интерьер
В отличие от остальных моделей Ferrari в 456-й эргономике места водителя было уделено особое внимание: педали были точно посередине, как и рулевое колесо, рычаг КПП в зоне досягаемости, хорошая обзорность, достаточный диапазон регулировок сиденья с электроприводами, слева рукоятка стояночного тормоза. Это одна из традиций фирмы: стояночный тормоз на всех моделях Ferrari устанавливается слева от водителя.
Приборов перед водителем на панели всего два: спидометр, оцифрованный до 320 км/ч, и тахометр, размеченный до 10000 оборотов в минуту.
Ferrari 456 GT – одна из немногих моделей фирмы с полноценным багажником. В нем находились три крупных кожаных чемодана в специальных матерчатых чехлах. В дополнение к чемоданам в багажнике Ferrari лежали еще один роскошный кожаный чемоданчик – набор профессиональных инструментов с обширным комплектом гаечных ключей всех типоразмеров, плоскогубцами, отвертками и полезными в ремонте приспособлениями.
