Racing Dynamics K55 Sport Coupe (E31)
Description
The Racing Dynamics K55 coupe was based on the BMW 850Ci, fitted with a 5.0-litre M70 engine, increased in displacement to 5.5 litres, new valves, cam lifters and air intakes. The engine produced 401 hp.
The car was equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, but for a surcharge you could get a 5-speed automatic.
In addition to engine modifications, the K55 offered various bodywork, suspension, rear end options.
40 K55s were produced for the European market and one in the USA.
